By accessing our Website or placing an order with Atelier Au, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using our Website or purchasing our products.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

By placing an order through our Website, you confirm that:

2. Our Products

Atelier Au offers a curated collection of fine jewellery, including both standard collection pieces and jewellery individually crafted to a customer's selected specifications.

As each piece is handcrafted, slight variations in appearance, finish, gemstone characteristics, or precious metal colour may naturally occur. These variations reflect the uniqueness of fine jewellery and do not constitute defects.

Both mined and lab-grown diamonds and other gemstones may vary in colour, clarity, inclusions, texture, and overall appearance. Likewise, handcrafted jewellery may exhibit subtle differences that contribute to its individuality.

3. Bespoke & Made-to-Order Jewellery

Certain Atelier Au products are created specifically for each customer.

These may include jewellery requiring:

  • Ring sizing
  • Bracelet sizing
  • Metal selection
  • Diamond or gemstone selection
  • Engraving
  • Personalised design modifications

Production of these pieces begins only after your order has been confirmed and payment has been received.

As these pieces are manufactured specifically for you, they are subject to our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

4. Product Information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, dimensions, specifications, pricing, photography, and other information displayed on our Website are accurate.

However:

  • Colours may vary depending on your screen settings.
  • Product images may appear larger or smaller than actual size.
  • Natural gemstones and diamonds are unique and may differ slightly from those shown.
  • Measurements are approximate.

Atelier Au reserves the right to correct any typographical errors, pricing errors, or inaccuracies without prior notice.

5. Pricing

All prices displayed on our Website are shown in the applicable currency selected by the customer.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

The price confirmed at checkout will be the price applicable to your purchase.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, international customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or similar governmental charges are not included within the purchase price.

6. Payment

Orders placed through our Website require full payment before production or dispatch.

For bespoke commissions arranged outside the Website, Atelier Au may require a non-refundable deposit before work begins. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the jewellery is dispatched or collected.

Orders remain the property of Atelier Au until full payment has been received.

7. Order Acceptance

Receipt of an order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order.

Atelier Au reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion, including where:

  • Payment cannot be authorised.
  • Incorrect pricing has been published.
  • A product becomes unavailable.
  • Fraud or unauthorised activity is suspected.
  • Shipping would breach applicable laws or regulations.
  • We are unable to fulfil the order for operational reasons.

Should your order be cancelled after payment has been received, any applicable refund will be processed using your original payment method.

8. Production Times

Estimated production times are provided as a guide only.

As many Atelier Au pieces are handcrafted, production schedules may occasionally vary depending on design complexity, gemstone sourcing, quality control requirements, or other operational factors.

Should a significant delay occur, we will endeavour to keep you informed.

9. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping is governed by our separate Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by courier operations, customs procedures, public holidays, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided in your order.

10. Returns & Exchanges

Returns and exchanges are governed by our Returns & Exchanges Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that made-to-order and personalised jewellery is generally not eligible for return except where required by applicable law or where expressly stated in our policy.

11. Ring Resizing

Ring resizing is governed by our Ring Resizing & Care policy.

Customers are encouraged to confirm sizing before placing an order.

12. Diamond & Gemstone Availability

Due to the dynamic nature of the global diamond and gemstone market, individual stones may become unavailable between consultation and purchase.

Where this occurs, Atelier Au will source the closest available alternative and obtain your approval before production proceeds.

13. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content appearing on this Website is the property of Atelier Au or its licensors.

This includes, without limitation:

  • The Atelier Au name and branding
  • Logos
  • Product photography
  • CAD renders
  • Design concepts
  • Product descriptions
  • Illustrations
  • Graphics
  • Videos
  • Website design
  • Text and written content

No material from this Website may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of Atelier Au.

14. Design Ownership

All quotations, sketches, CAD renders, design concepts, illustrations, and bespoke design proposals prepared by Atelier Au remain our intellectual property until the associated order has been paid for in full.

Unauthorised reproduction or use of these materials is prohibited.

15. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate sizing information.
  • Reviewing all order details before payment.
  • Ensuring shipping information is correct.
  • Inspecting jewellery upon delivery.
  • Caring for jewellery in accordance with our Jewellery Care recommendations.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Atelier Au shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our Website or the purchase of our products.

Nothing within these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited under applicable law.

17. Force Majeure
